MARY POPPINS RETURNS Girls Night Out

A glass full of bubbly makes the medicine go down! We are so thrilled to present a very special advance screening Girls Night Out event for one of most anticipated films of the year, MARY POPPINS RETURNS starring Emily Blunt, on Friday 21st December!

Mary Poppins Returns is directed by musical king Rob Marshall (CHICAGO). It’s based on the book series by P. L. Travers and a sequel to 1964's classic Mary Poppins. The film stars one of our absolute faves Emily Blunt as the titular character, with Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Dick Van Dyke, Angela Lansbury, Colin Firth, and Meryl Streep in supporting roles. We are so excited to give you this early look at our Girls Night Out Preview! & as always, we’ll have cocktail specials in the Ritz Bar all night and all tickets get a glass of bubbly or small drink on entry.

  • Synopsis
  • It's been many years since Mary Poppins visited Jane and Michael Banks and worked as their magical nanny. Now grown, Michael (Ben Whishaw) is a widower with three children: Annabel (Pixie Davies), John (Nathanael Saleh) and Georgie (Joel Dawson). When the bank is about to repossess his childhood home after he misses several payments, his sister Jane (Emily Mortimer) helps him search through their father's papers for the shares they own in the bank.

Meanwhile, as the children head off across the park to buy some groceries, Georgie plays with a kite that his father threw out. It nearly pulls him into the air, but he's saved by a lamplighter named Jack (Lin-Manuel Miranda). When the kite returns to the ground, Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt) is holding onto it and announces she's come to London to be the children's nanny.
