CLASSIC HOLLYWOOD - season 2

Old age. It's the only disease, Mr. Thompson, that you don't look forward to being cured of…

Well we here at The Ritz are embracing our old age. We hit the milestone age of 80 in 2017, and we are continuing the festivities with another incredible program of Classic films taking us on another journey back to the golden age of Hollywood and the golden age of The Ritz Cinema.

In this second series of screenings, we have carefully curated a program of super-rare prints, brand new digital restorations, films that haven’t been seen on a cinema screen in many years, anniversary screenings (some of which out date us even), plus a very special tribute. They include Hollywood legends such as Orson Welles, Alfred Hitchcock, Clara Bow, Peter Sellers, Kim Novak, Charlie Chaplin, Barbara Streisand, Marlon Brando, Katharine Hepburn, Sidney Poitier, and the late great Jerry Lewis.

These classics will be showing every week on selected days, and will transport you back to the days of Hollywood Glitz and Glamour of the 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.

Hello Gorgeous, this is our Classic Hollywood series.
