Tickets Terms & Conditions

Ticket Collection
Tickets purchased via this web site can be collected by presenting your booking receipt, SMS and/or the credit card used for the transaction at the Box Office.

Tickets are sold on an unreserved basis as the Ritz Cinema does not have allocated seating. Booking a ticket online secures a place, so in the event of a sold-out session you will not miss out on a seat. However, you may still need to arrive early in order to choose a good seat.

Concessions and Identification
Where tickets requiring identification are purchased, suitable photo identification must be presented upon collection of the tickets. Photo identification can also be requested at the box office or cinema door for any type of tickets purchased if deemed necessary by our staff. Failure to present suitable identification will result in the applicable tickets being forfeited.

MA and R Classified Movies
Movies rated MA and R are restricted to certain age groups. MA is restricted to those 15 years and over, unless accompanied by parent or guardian who is 18 years and over. R is restricted to adults 18 years and over. Should any tickets be purchased for movies classified as such photo identification may need to be presented.


Tickets purchased via this website are sold for a specific session only and are sold on a strict no-refund, no-exchange and no-transfer basis.

Booking Fees
A ticket booking fee will apply to each ticket purchased via this website.

Ritz Cinemas may, due to issues outside their control or at its sole discretion, cancel particular screenings. Tickets purchased for cancelled screenings will be exchanged upon request.

Prices on this website include GST where applicable.

Gift Card/Savers Terms and Conditions

By placing an order with us, either online or at the box office, you are agreeing to accept these terms and conditions:

Please note, these terms and conditions can potentially change at any time, and it is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly before ordering products in case there are any changes.

  • All Gift Cards are valid for 3 years from date of purchase the expiry date will be marked on the Gift Card along with the initial amount loaded onto the card.
  • Ritz Saver vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of issue. The date of expiry will be marked on each individual Saver voucher.
  • Validity periods of Gift Cards and Saver Vouchers cannot be extended.
  • Saver vouchers can only be redeemed at the Ritz box office and are single use.
  • Gift cards and Saver vouchers cannot be used to book tickets online.
  • If the value of the transaction is less than the value of the Gift Card the outstanding balance will be stored on the card and must be used on or before the date of expiry.
  • If the value of the transaction is more than the value of the Gift Card the customer must pay the balance.
  • Gift Cards and Saver vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Lost, misplaced or stolen Gift Cards or Saver Vouchers cannot be replaced.
  • Any remaining value cannot be given in cash.
  • Saver vouchers are not valid for special events and screenings, including 70mm sessions.
  • Saver vouchers are subject to a surcharge for 3D screenings.
  • Gift Cards cannot be reloaded/topped up, nor can they be used to purchase Gift Cards.
  • Gift Card and Saver vouchers are strictly non-refundable, and are accompanied by a processing fee when purchased from the cinema box office or online.
