SHOW-FEST INTERNATIONAL 2010 The ultimate cinema experience is back again! The Show-Fest International film festival presented by NAFA is back this August showcasing the best in international and local talent. The 7th annual festival will be hosted by TV presenter and 2009 Cleo Bachelor of the Year contender Ben Damon. Ben is the winner of both the Best Film Award and Audience Choice Award at last year's festival. Tickets are now on sale through Moshtix. In 2010 Show-Fest, famous for its ‘Show & Tell’, will once again give festival-goers front row access to the filmmakers and actors. This is an opportunity to get exclusive insights into their influences and the creative processes behind these award-winning pieces. About NAFA Show-Fest International Show-Fest features approximately 10 finalist films competing for Best Film (worth $3500), awarded by an independent judging panel on the night of the festival. These finalists have been preselected by another independent panel drawn from Sydney's film industry. With such a rigorous selection process, filmmakers can be assured that becoming a Show-Fest finalist is an achievement to be proud of. In the 2009 festival, five of the best Australian submissions competed with the best of the international films which were representing Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the US. The US finalist film Valley of the Moon was represented in person by writer–producer Frank Monteleone. Flying in from New York especially to attend the Show & Tell, Frank inspired the audience with the stories of his project's genesis. The Show-Fest 2009 screening was also his film's premiere outside of the US. Show-Fest continues to keep its promise of providing a genuine cinematic experience with both HD and 35mm film projection, where everyone is given the opportunity to enjoy films as they were meant to be seen — on the big screen! About NAFA Show-Fest International

Show-Fest features approximately 10 finalist films competing for Best Film (worth $3500), awarded by an independent judging panel on the night of the festival.
