in 1937. RITZ BUBS CLUB PRICE… Adults only $8.50 each, children under 5 are admitted free.
Support the Ritz, the best
priced cinema in the Eastern Suburbs - Tell your friends and encourage
them to join the online Bubs’ Club. For all our new members…Welcome aboard, please feel free to contact us at anytime with enquiries or suggestions at customerservice@ritzcinema.com.au Bubs’ Club is a weekly session of the latest films dedicated to babies, mums, dads or carers, with no pressure to run out of the cinema if your baby cries. The sound levels are slightly reduced to ensure a more comfortable experience for the bubs. It is a great way to get out and about and see the latest movies in a stress free environment and meet other local new mums. Our Café Ritz is a great meeting point or somewhere “kid friendly” to chill out after the movie and catch up with new and old friends. If you have twins, triplets etc and definitely require the extra large pram position at the rear of the cinema (the wheelchair bay), you may purchase in advance & explain to the cashier that you would like to reserve that position. You may only reserve the wheelchair bay if you have purchased your ticket/s to that bubs session. Pram Jams…Please note that due to congestion in the cinema, we are no longer able to allow most prams into the cinema to be parked in the aisles. Aisles need to be kept free of any obstruction for obvious safety reasons. Please bring your bub in a capsule or stroller – and ensure that the aisles are kept clear. We can park prams at the front of the cinema, under the screen or in the foyer, monitored by security camera. We thank you for your understanding regarding this fire and safety issue. Please feel free to call us if you wish to discuss this safety issue.
PLEASE NOTE ALL BUBS CLUB SESSIONS COMMENCE AT 10AM Movie tickets can be purchased online or by credit card on 9399 5722 Bubs' Club ticket prices are:

FEBRUARY - 10am
J. EDGAR
Biographical Drama starring
Leonardo DiCaprio, Armie
Hammer, Naomi Watts, Josh Hamilton.
During
his
lifetime,
J.
Edgar
Hoover
would
rise
to
be
the
most
powerful
man
in
America.
As
head
of
the
Federal
Bureau
of
Investigation
for
nearly
50
years,
he
would
stop
at
nothing
to
protect
his
country.
Through
eight
presidents
and
three
wars,
Hoover
waged
battle
against
threats
both
real
and
perceived,
often
bending
the
rules
to
keep
his
countrymen
safe.
His
methods
were
at
once
ruthless
and
heroic,
with
the
admiration
of
the
world
his
most
coveted,
if
ever
elusive,
prize.
As
seen
through
the
eyes
of
Hoover
himself,
“J.
Edgar”
explores
the
personal
&
public
life
and
relationships
of a
man
who
could
distort
the
truth
as
easily
as
he
upheld
it
during
a
life
devoted
to
his
own
idea
of
justice,
often
swayed
by
the
darker
side
of
power.

attractive romantic propositions.

FEBRUARY - 10am
MY WEEK WITH MARILYN
Drama starring
Michelle Williams, Eddie Redmayne, Julia Ormond, Kenneth Branagh, Emma
Watson
In
the
early
summer
of
1956,
23
year-old
Colin
Clark,
just
down
from
Oxford
and
determined
to
make
his
way
into
the
film
business,
worked
as a
lowly
assistant
on
the
set
of
"The
Prince
and
the
Showgirl"
-
the
film
that
famously
united
Sir
Laurence
Olivier
and
Marilyn
Monroe,
who
was
also
on
holiday
with
her
new
husband,
the
playwright
Arthur
Miller.
Nearly
40
years
on,
his
diary
account
The
Prince,
the
Showgirl
& Me
was
published,
but
one
week
was
missing
and
this
was
published
some
years
later
as
My
Week
With
Marilyn
-
this
is
the
story
of
that
week.
When
Arthur
Miller
leaves
England,
the
coast
is
clear
for
Colin
to
introduce
Marilyn
to
some
of
the
pleasures
of
British
life;
an
idyllic
week
in
which
he
escorted
a
Monroe
desperate
to
get
away
from
her
retinue
of
Hollywood
hangers-on
and
the
pressures
of
work.
