Looking for an exciting venue for your child's birthday party?

A RITZ MOVIE BIRTHDAY PARTY is the answer for you! Take the stress out of holding your child's party - hold the Birthday Party Celebration here at the RITZ!

Avoid hours of cleaning your home before and after your child's party!
Avoid having kids lingering at your home for hours after the party is over!
Avoid having to think up exciting ideas on how to keep children entertained at your home!

Parties can be held with or without a movie screening, and we have different options to choose from to make your child's party a memorable occasion.

We offer three options for children's parties:

1. The Cake Cutting Area
With a booking for a minimum of 20 children, you can hire the area for $30 for half an hour after the movie to cut a cake & sing Happy Birthday, giving you a dedicated area from which parents can collect their children.

2.  The Party Room
An exclusive room for one hour after the film - $200 includes catering for 10 children
Additional catering $8.00 per child ($200 does not include any movie tickets or combo’s)

3.  Tickets & Combos
If you are not after either of the above options you can pre-purchase tickets and combos for your birthday group

ADULT TICKET PRICES  -  $13 for standard films & $15 for 3D sessions
3D GLASSES - $1 each - The Ritz encourages its patrons to re-use their 3D glasses when and where possible.

LOLLY BAG COMBO - Small drink, Small Popcorn and lolly bag $8.50

We endeavour to set advanced session times for all children’s movies as early as possible. However, this is dependant upon many variables, including confirmation of movie running times & distributor approval. Once session times have been confirmed they are posted on the website.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island in 3D

Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace in 3D

SYNOPSIS:
The evil Trade Federation, led by Nute Gunray is planning to take over the peaceful world of Naboo. Jedi Knights Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi are sent to confront the leaders. But not everything goes to plan. The two Jedi escape, and along with their new Gungan friend, Jar Jar Binks head to Naboo to warn Queen Amidala, but droids have already started to capture Naboo and the Queen is not safe there.

Eventually, they land on Tatooine, where they become friends with a young boy known as Anakin Skywalker. Qui-Gon is curious about the boy, and sees a bright future for him. The group must now find a way of getting to Coruscant and to finally solve this trade dispute, but there is someone else hiding in the shadows. Are the Sith really extinct? Is the Queen who she really says she is? And what's so special about this young boy?

 

 

The Hunger Games

SYNOPSIS:
In a not-too-distant future, North America has collapsed, weakened by drought, fire, famine, and war to be replaced by Panem, a country divided into the Capitol and 12 districts. Each year two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games.  Part entertainment, part brutal intimidation of the subjugated districts, the televised games are broadcast throughout Panem.  The 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors, literally, with all citizens required to watch.

When 16-year-old Katniss' young sister, Prim, is selected as the mining district's female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart Peeta, will be pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives.

 

 

Dr Seuss' The Lorax

Dr Seuss' The Lorax, an adaptation of the classic tale of a forest creature who shares the enduring power of hope.  The animated adventure follows the journey of a 12-year-old boy as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams.  To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.
